Al Embry International is a full service entertainment agency, founded in 1975 and has managed and booked some of the biggest names in the business. While we are not the largest, the size of the agency allows us to give concentrated effort to our artists as well as our corporate clients. No one gets lost in the shuffle. The agency allows for a unique relationship between us, the artists and the clients.

Al started as Vice President of Hubert Long International, one of the largest and oldest management agencies in Nashville. There he worked with such acts as George Jones, Tammy Wynette, The Statler Brothers, Merle Haggard and Brenda Lee. After opening his own agency in 1975, Al began working with Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Chubby Checker and Mickey Gilley among others. Not long after opening his own agency, Al began booking a group called Wild Country, who later became known worldwide as Alabama.

From country to jazz, rock -n- roll, R and B, rockabilly, honky tonk and the blues, our agency has been the producer of various performing artists, singers and musicians such as Dolly Parton, MC Hammer, Shirley Horn, the Temptations, Jason D Williams, Fats Domino, Tom Jones, Chubby Checker, Wayne Newton, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Blood Sweat & Tears, and Ray Charles.

In 1985 Al was executive producer and agent for the return concert of Fats Domino along with Ricky Nelson at the Universal Amphitheater. The first Cinemax sessions show was produced by Al for HBO called Fats and Friends. The show featured Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, and Paul Shaffer. The show won Al his first Cable ACE Award. After over 32 years in the business and having booked over 600 million dollars worth of talent worldwide, Al Embry International is still going strong and is a prominent producer of headliner events.
